Welcome!

Welcome to my blog! My name is Katie and love soccer, rainbow looms, horseback riding and track and Field. And of coarse, (drumroll,please, ) Dear Canada! If you do not know what Dear Canada is than you need to turn off this computer, find a book and read it. Just kidding!(But you do really need to read these books.) The Dear Canada series is a book series, told in diary format, about girls growing up during  different events in history.  The dates range from the 1600's;

To the 1940's;

And just about everywhere in-between. Another key detail is that the books are not by just one author, but several. Most of these authors are quite familiar names to Canadian literature, (Jane Little, Kit Pearson and Julie Larson just to name a few,) and most of the books are very well written and full of adventure. Since the books cover different historical periods, are told by different, (fictional,) girls, and written by various authors, there is something for everyone in this series. 

On this blog, I will be reviewing books, giving advice and talking about rumoured or new books. (Anyone else pumped about "All Fall Down?")
